Orchid Country Club

Lee began playing golf at age 22 in Melbourne Australia.

2 years later she was lucky enough to be invited to join the famed Metropolitan Golf Club. Her first handicap was 22 and within 2 years – had reduced that to single figures and another  year later was at a remarkable plus 1 handicap – that would be -1 to the uninitiated 😊

Lee played in many National Opens, both in Australia and back in her old home country – New Zealand.
She represented her Club and State many times. She was top qualifier in the Victorian Championship and top 5 qualifier in Australian Championships during those amateur years.

In 1996, she made the decision to turn pro.
Her first event as a professional was the 1996 Australian Open where she made the cut!  Good effort that!!

1998 saw the decision to move to Singapore to further her career after being the club pro at Malvern Valley Golf Course in Melbourne for 2 years.26 years in Singapore has seen her at Green Fairways for the first 17 years. Then the old Keppel for 3 years and after that, Champions golf for another 5 years.
One year ago she moved to Orchid Country Club and has been in golf heaven since then!

Golf – the most wonderful game in the world and one we all love and hate with equal passion!

So… you’re stuck. Not getting any better, or worse – declining.
Perhaps you are a pretty good player, but think you should be better?
Maybe you are a total beginner and have no idea where to start?
How about this then?
Lee Carrington – who is a fully qualified member of both The Australian PGA and Australian Women’s PGA and has been teaching golf here in Singapore for 26 years.
She is at Orchid Country Club – a golf mecca!

Lee has a basic philosophy when it comes to teaching golf – work with what you have – just make it better!
From your driver to your putter. They all count don’t they?
Short game – so underrated and yet it is 60 percent of what we do out there.
The mental side of the game and it is huge!

Here’s the big thing – someone can tell you what you are doing and you may understand – or not? Or are they even correct in what they are saying?
Go to YouTube – yep. Same as the above.
How about this then?
Lessons where you are videoed and you and your swing are side by side with a golf pro who knows what she is doing.
Lee uses V1 video analysis and it is so good at helping you understand the rights and the wrongs and most importantly – what works.

See it… feel it… do it !!!
