Singapore Golf and the Latest News

A New Year, well it was a month or two back and with that, a new website!

Special thanks to Jason, for all his wonderful hard work and patience in both putting this together and helping me through the minefield that it is when you are blonde and totally computer illiterate. Thanks Jay!

Now, where are we? Well I’m still at Green Fairways and we are still in business and going still going strong. As some of you may be aware, there are some rumblings in the area, due to the old Turf Club being taken over by the Government and redeveloped for housing. That doesn’t affect us – at the moment at least and hopefully, won’t in the future. The golf course is in good shape and the perfect place for those who still want to play golf the way it should be played – walking! If you haven’t visited us before, Green Fairways is a 9 hole, purely public, gem of a Singapore Golf Course.  It’s also right smack in the middle of the Island… so it’s close to wherever you live. It’s a tough little track, a good walk that will test out your fitness and also your shot making skills. If you can play to your handicap around here, then you have done well. If you can’t – then come see me!

On the international front, we have the LPGA’s best playing this week at the wonderful Tanah Mera Country Club. The girls are showcasing the best of the LPGA and I hope that you all took some time off your busy schedules and went out for a bit of a look. As it stands right now, Chie Arimura is one shot in front of Karrie Webb, with Tseng Ya-ni a further 5 back. Can Ya-ni make it five in a row? Five back is a lot, but she only has two others in front of her, so……… I’ll let you know tomorrow night! I am going to stick my head out though and pick Webby to win this by three shots. I’ll be there tomorrow and I hope to see you there.

Cheers,

Lee

So, did you visit Vegas last Fall ? Lose your cell ? Expense account frozen ? Hang with Tiger, and dump the Wench ? Seriously, I hope all is well Jason.
